Fabrication to be in accordance with IHG standards as stated in the FF&E Construction and Specification  Guidelines and as follows:

• Product to have tight upholstered seat and back with 5-prong base and  carpet casters, pneumatic gas lift, and back tilt mechanism. 

• Upholstery, foam, batting, padding, and/or dacron wrap must meet all  state and local flammability requirements for property location. At  minimum must meet CAL117. 

• Fully upholstered frames to be constructed of select hardwoods and  hardwood plywood. Exposed wood frames to be constructed of maple  and beech hardwoods. Hardwood frames to be assembled using  double dowels, screws, glue, and corner blocks. Plywood frames to be  assembled using interlocking joints, screws, glue and staples. All metal  parts of interior hardware must be non-corrosive, guaranteed against  rust and corrosion, suitable for use in varying climatic conditions. 

• Powder coat baked enamel. All welds must be filled and ground smooth. 

• Refer to CG-305.1 for fabric specifications. 

• Manufacturer must verify all fabric quantity requirements. 

• Rated for 250 lb load. 

• To be of contract quality and suitable for commercial use. 

• All materials and methods of construction must comply with local fire  and life safety codes for use in hotels and other public spaces. 

• Refer to drawings for location. 

• Manufacturer to clearly mark each carton with item ID and specification  number.
